Simple Passive Income Strategy

Simple Passive Income Strategy

  • Find one hundred low competition keywords.
  • Purchase an exact match, brand-able (memorable), or aged domain name based on your keywords.
  • Find and point domain to hosting account.
  • Open WordPress from c-panel inside hosting account
  • Enter one each of the 100 keywords as the title under new post

Use the google AdWords keywords tool to return up to 800 keywords. You will need to find the low competition keywords usually you will end up with about 30 rank-able keywords out of each 800.

You can export you large list of keywords as a .csv or .csv for excel file.

Decide your minimum acceptable monthly revenue per keyword. (If ranking your business site decide minimum monthly searches and you can ignore revenue). I target keywords with more that forty dollars a month potential.

Next install an SEO plugin on fire fox. You can use the one on SEObook.com or sem rush. Once you have the plugin activated you will need to search each keyword and look at the top 4 results. You are looking at competing pages for that keyword that are Page Rank 3 or less. A PR 4 is also acceptable if the exact keyword in not in the title. Many SEO’s will also avoid competing pages that have large numbers of links. I don’t look at this metric because if they had good quality links the PR would be higher.

Remember we are only comparing keyword phrases and individual web pages. Not the strength of the domain’s home page. For example chances you will never outrank a major shopping website for the term shopping. But you could easily out rank them for an individual keyword phrase like “blue area rugs”.

Keep repeating this first step until you have one hundred low competition keywords.

Next buy a domain name related to your keywords.

Get a paid web hosting account that has c-panel, most do. Blue Host, Hostgator (most popular), Green geeks says they are eco-friendly and have the necessary features.

Log on to your web host click on c-panel, look for the WordPress logo click that and WordPress will automatically install. If you have questions just call the customer support number. Hostgator has great customer service if you think you might have trouble use them.

Next login to your wordpress using the temporay password given during automatic installation and and click on new post. Put your first keyword phrase in the title hit save draft and keep repeating this until you have entered all of the keyword phrases as post titles and save them as drafts.

The final step is to write a post based on the keyword phrase in the title. Do this for the first five posts. Then rewrite (do not copy rewrite each article from memory) 2-3 articles for each of your websites posts in a plain text document. Once you have published the first five posts on your wordpress website. You’ll want to publish the 2-3 rewritten articles to do follow article directories and preferably private blog’s related to your niche with one or two links contaning your key words phrases and a related keyword. For example one article titled Cheap Blue Area Rugs would have links containg “cheap blue area rugs”, “large blue area rugs” and “small area rugs”. After you have three links pointing at each post on your wordpress site. You can continue to wrtie more post and more linking articles. Once you have about 20 articles and a month or so has gone by you can go back and get four more links with related keywords to each of your posts.

This should take you about a month or so to get your first twenty posts and seven links pointing to each. Now you can keep adding posts and links until you have used up all one hundred keyword titles you saved and drafts after wordpress was installed. Using this method you don’t need to link keywords to you domain name just to the post URL’s (titles). Your domain will naturally get links. You want the individual pages to rank then the home page will too with out any real effort.

If you are looking to make money then you can work on more that one site at a time following these basic steps. It will take up to nine months to a year for the rankings and traffic to really kick in.
